The 10:1000 Plan

It is said that every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. We would like to add something to that. It may be true that every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, but we say that every successful journey begins not with a step, but rather with a plan. The Doula fund has a modest plan that starts with #onemomamonth and ends with a new plan, and a scary choice. This plan revolves around YOU and your generous monthly donations. We like to say "It takes a village" and we really believe that. A village is smaller than a town and is usually populated by up to about 1000 people. We are working hard to get to 1000 monthly donors each giving only $10/month so that we can help 3 new moms a week go through one of the most transformative moments of their lives with someone there in their corner to help them along the way.

We call it the 10:1000 plan.
